Job Description

Requirements:

  • Matric or a equivalent NQF4
  • Trade Test Certificate
  • 3 Years post trade qualification experience
  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a food manufacturing industry would be advantageous
  • Must be Afrikaans speaking

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Daily routine inspections, repairs and maintenance on milling machines
  • Perform scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services
  • Diagnose route cause of mechanical malfunctions and repairs
  • Stock level of parts required for maintenance and reporting low levels to Maintenance Manager

Abilities, competencies and knowledge:

  • Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment
  • High technical aptitude
