Job Description

The Maintenance & Engineering, Superintendent has primary responsibility for the day to day management of maintenance and engineering requirements of all HaiSea Marine vessels & Maintenance shop activities. The Superintendent is responsible for vessel engineering and maintenance management, working to meet project schedule and cost requirements. This role is responsible for formulating company policy and strategy and leads the continuous improvement of maintenance and repair methodology following the maintenance trends.

Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at Kitimat, BC. 

What you'll do 

  • Ensuring that vessel maintenance program is running in accordance with company policy. 
  • Managing port engineering team. 
  • Responding to and coordinating responses to unscheduled maintenance activities for HSM vessels.
