Maintenance Engineer
Location: Whitstable, Kent
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy maintenance team, supporting the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and site facilities. This is a varied hands-on role involving planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs, continuous improvement activities and project work.
You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting operational efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery, plant and site facilities.
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, repairing equipment and replacing components where required.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
* Use the CMMS system to manage maintenance tasks, prioritise workloads and maintain accurate maintenance records.
