Overview
Our manufacturing client based in Preston are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join them on a 6-2/2-10 rotating shift pattern.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment, plant and electrical across the whole site in line with legislative requirements. This role will include Planned Preventative Maintenance, repairs to plant machinery and changeover of plant equipment.
Main duties of the Maintenance Engineer
* To maintain the site electrical equipment to ensure that it is always in good working condition.
* To assist with installation of new plant and equipment.
* To carry out planned preventative mechanical/electrical maintenance and repairs of all electrically operated plant and supplies across the whole site.
* To assist in major breakdowns and equipment failures
* Ensure all equipment is safe to operate
