Job Description
A good food manufacturing site is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep production running smoothly. You’ll maintain, repair and optimise machinery while supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair plant and equipment, diagnosing and resolving breakdowns quickly
Deliver preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, hygiene and H&S standards
Maintain accurate records and assist senior management as required
Flexible approach with on-call duties during peak periodsRequirements:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
Hands-on experience in food manufacturing
16th/17th/18th Edition or equivalent
Strong problem-solving, organisation and communication skillsDesirable: NEBOSH/IOSH, food hygiene qualification, previous experience in a food production engineering role
