Job Description

  • A maintenance engineer is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within a facility, including planning, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure the proper upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds, while adhering to safety regulations and managing budgets to optimize operational efficiency; key duties include developing preventive maintenance programs, responding to emergency repairs, and coordinating with contractors for specialized work.
