Maintenance Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for purchasing, receiving and issuing of maintenance parts, concrete production supplies, direct charge (work orders) of materials and services, inventory control, and maintaining the warehouse. This position also assists in the on-line creation of maintenance work orders, and general support of operations under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Primarily responsible for department buying functions in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor.

1. Assists in the research of parts requirements for contemplated maintenance work in preparation for requisitioning and sourcing. Advises parts status on pending work.
2. Assists in selection of vendors and places orders for authorized purchases.
