About the Role

Cormac are looking to recruit a Maintenance Chargehand to work as part of our Highways division. You will be joining our experienced team to successfully deliver quality maintenance projects and support Cornwall's growth, whilst contributing to our safety-first culture.

We work collaboratively across a diverse portfolio of highway and environmental maintenance projects. These include:

  • Vegetation management and verge maintenance
  • Strimming and grass cutting operations
  • Environmental improvement works
  • Footway maintenance
  • General highway maintenance activities

    • In this role, you will undertake a range of maintenance tasks including vegetation clearance, strimming, grass cutting, and environmental maintenance works across Cornwall's highway network and public spaces.
