About the Role

As a
Mainframe z/OS & z/VM System Administrator
, you will ensure operational stability, manage incidents, and maintain performance across our IBM Mainframe platforms. You'll work with both z/OS and z/VM environments in a hybrid setup, supporting batch processing, system resources, and high-availability operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM Mainframe environments (z/OS & z/VM)
• Perform daily system monitoring, health checks, and proactive issue detection
• Manage incident, problem, and change activities for Mainframe systems
• Support IPL activities, system restarts, and planned/unplanned outages
• Monitor CPU, memory, storage, paging, and workloads
• Perform user and security administration (RACF access coordination)
• Assist in patching, maintenance, and upgrades of Mainframe OS and components
