Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor mainframe production systems, applications, and batch jobs to ensure smooth operation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly by analyzing logs, debugging, and coordinating with relevant teams
  • Implement fixes and changes to production systems, applications, and batch jobs in coordination with developers
  • Test changes before deploying them to production environments
  • Create and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, runbooks, and system diagrams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production stability and performance
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and company processes in production support activities
