- Manage and monitor mainframe batch processes to ensure timely and accurate execution of jobs.
- Oversee and maintain job scheduling systems (e.g., CA-7, Control-M) to optimize workload and minimize processing conflicts.
- Utilize mainframe systems such as IBM z/OS, JCL, and TSO/ISPF for daily operations and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement disaster recovery plans and maintain system uptime.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues to minimize business impact and enhance system reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation for production control processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and team training.
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools such as OMEGAMON and SYSVIEW and address potential issues promptly.
