Mainframe Migration Specialist, Google Cloud

Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.
**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience with z/OS or midrange (AS/400) environments, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, or Assembler.
+ 5 years of experience delivering migrations to a cloud provider.
+ Experience with automated conversion tools (e.g., Cloud G4/mainframe refactor, blu age, or mLogica).
+ Experience in modern target languages, specifically Java, Go, or Python.
+ Experience building or using AI Agents and LLM-based frameworks to automate software engineering tasks.
