Job Description
- Mainframe Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain COBOL, JCL, and DB2 programs to support business applications.
- Work on CICS screens development and integration with back-end systems.
- Write and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage SQLCODES effectively.
- Handle VSAM files, creating and managing datasets for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Implement DB2 Stored Procedures and manage complex data access scenarios.
- Program Optimization:
- Optimize JCL jobs for performance and ensure that SORT commands are effectively used for sorting multiple files both programmatically and through JCL.
