Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Mainframe Application Analyst supports enterprise mainframe applications that are in scope for the IBC Data Purge initiative. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and supporting solutions to remove large volumes of data from mainframe platforms. The analyst collaborates closely with application teams to complete required artifacts, validate purge approaches, and identify system dependencies.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical artifacts supporting large scale data purge solutions
  • Develop and validate SQL scripts to extract statistical record counts across all database tables
  • Design and support methods for removing large volumes of data from databases, network drives, and other data stores
  • Develop product test plans with an emphasis on batch processing, user-oriented automation, and reusable test data creation
