The Machinist position will perform routine, repetitive manufacturing production operations after participating in required training. Works with grinding equipment in the fabrication of ceramic components to precision tolerances. Typically requires 2 years of previous machine operator experience.
Essential Functions:
Under normal supervision, manufacture various ceramic products to specification. Routinely inspect own work for conformance to requirements (work is also occasionally checked by lead or supervisor for progress and accuracy.)Set up workstation with minimal assistance. Complete appropriate paperwork including timecards, Work Order documentation and recording statistical data.
