Job Description

Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Machining Tech IV, 1st Shift at our aerospace manufacturing facility in the Fullerton, CA.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembles and adjusts die set by selecting proper tooling and tests to assure proper clearance.
  • Sets up according to work order and layouts to insure proper form configuration.
  • Uses precision measuring instruments and reads blueprints to check parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Operates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases to and instructs operators in procedures for producing parts in conformance with specifications.
  • Performs other related tasks in departments to which assigned such as: Assembling, drilling, deburring, sorting, counting, etching, stamping, recording of parts processed and housekeeping
  • Reads blueprints and has knowledge to use micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread gauges, depth micromet...
