Machine Shop Manager

Job Description :

• Manage all workers in the machine shop
• Must be able to direct and coordinate the daily operations of the manufacturing plant. Which includes developing efficiency strategies to ensure the plant meets production goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs?
• The Machine Shop manager will work directly with department heads to coordinate purchasing, production and distribution operations.
• Duties will include instituting policies and procedures, training supervisors and administrators, maintaining a production schedule, giving performance reviews and motivating staff to meet production goals.
• The Machine Shop production manager is also responsible for upholding a safe work environment.
• Other Duties as requested by Technical Director and General Manager

• Must have Supervisory experience of at least 4 direct reports.
• Must be able to program in G-code.
