Machine Setter, Blackheath Cape Town

Overview

Our client is a major provider of innovative baking, food service and packaging solutions across Africa and international markets is looking for Machine Setter with eccentric press experience to join their Blackheath (Cape Town) facility.

Only candidates based in the Western Cape will be considered.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with maths and physical science OR N3 / N4 Mechanical Engineering
• Red Seal Trade Test in Toolmaking, Fitting & Turning or Machining
• Hands-on eccentric press and tooling experience
• Good understanding of production processes in Marsden
• Able to read, interpret and work from technical drawings
• Fault finding and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with a tape measure and vernier
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work under pressure
• OSH awareness
