**Slitting Operator**
**A Shift:** 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
**Pay:** $18.00 per hour
**Employment Type:** Temp to Hire
**Job Summary**
The Slitting Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring slitting equipment used to cut large rolls of material into specific widths. This role ensures product quality, accurate measurements, safe machine operation, and efficient production flow in a manufacturing environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate slitting machines according to work orders and specifications
+ Load and unload large rolls of material using appropriate handling equipment
+ Adjust machine settings such as blade alignment, tension, and speed
+ Monitor production during operation to ensure accuracy and quality standards
+ Inspect finished rolls for defects, correct dimensions, and overall quality
+ Measure materials using standard measuring tools
+ Record production data, scrap, and quality checks...
