Machine Operator- Sintering

Machine Operator, Furnace/Sintering Elmet Technologies is a leading producer of the high-performance metals including tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and niobium.  We are currently sourcing candidates for a Machine Operator, Furnace/Sintering.

This person will be responsible for the safe operation of production furnaces and/or boxes.

Job responsibilities also include, but not limited to:

• Proper selection of bricks for part loading.


• Proper visual inspection and handling of green and finished parts.
• Proper/safe loading and unloading of parts, including sand.
• Monitoring and recording of speed and temperature for assigned furnaces and make the proper adjustments as needed.
• Perform inspections and record results on proper form using simple tools as micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicators.
• Ability to identify production orders and keep traceability of them.
