Machine Operator - Golf (Full-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor Golf Services and the technical direction and guidance of the Leadhand (Greenskeeper) operates equipment required for the maintenance of the Golf Course facilities from approximately April to October, and for Parks from approximately November to March, annually.

MAJOR TASKS

• Operates equipment and vehicles and works with crews, as required.
• Performs minor servicing of equipment.
• Performs all functions associated with the maintenance and operation of greens, fairways, and grounds.
• Records data, as required.
• Reports equipment defects to Greenskeeper.
• Performs as a Machine Operator in Parks during winter months.
• Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.
