Machine Operator

Summary

The Operator is responsible for efficient operation and production of machines and equipment. This position will ensure machines and equipment are operating at optimum performance levels ensuring exceptional quality of the product. This position must have a strong understanding of the machines, technically inclined and an ability to analyze situations to find solutions.

The position must have knowledge and experience in plastics manufacturing including extrusion blow molding.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment

• Follow the process control parameters

• Adjust molding machines and perform calibration checks ensuring accuracy and making sure machines run at optimum performance levels

• Verify the quality of the product through inspections and testing

• Monitor the rejected product and perform a waste count
