Machine Operator
Objective
Within our Fabrication business, the role of Machine Operator is to safely produce a quality product according to the guidelines of a customer’s workorder in a team environment with other operators. This role requires cross training on various aspects of a lamination machine’s operation, and it is vital to the success of our business, as Machine Operators are ensuring that our customers’ orders are correct and undamaged.
Essential Job Functions
Be capable of performing all functions necessary to operateup to twodifferent types of manual equipment (ie. Router, Bands Saw, Pipe cover saw, Curved Segment Saw, Miter Saw, Hullboard machine)
Understand purchase orders, product descriptions and how to determine product manufacturing requirements
Understand all functions of the machine, such as blade changing and tensioning, turning equipment on/off, etc
