Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operative
Location: Abingdon
Rate: £18 per hour PAYE
Job Type: 6 – 12 month contract
Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1x30 min lunch, 2x15 breaks) – 40 hours
Please note: Hours will be changing to rotational shift so all applicants need to be able to work 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm
The role of Machine Operative will include:
Working within a cleanroom environment
Loading, setting and operating bespoke machinery
Working under microscope
Checking quality and carrying out tests on the final product, ensuring it is to the customers requirements
The Machine Operative should have the following skills and experience:
Experience working within a cleanroom environment is desirable
Previous experience operating complex bespoke machinery is essential
Able to follow instructions and have good attention to detail
Reliable and good work ethic
