Machine Attendant

Role Purpose:
To support the smooth running of knitting machines by ensuring machines are properly set,  supplied with yarns, kept clean, and minor issues are promptly reported.
Key Responsibilities:

• Feed yarn into the machines as required.
  
• Ensure quality of socks i.e., regularly measuring stretch and sizes, ensure correct colors  and designs.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and safety around assigned machines.
  
• Record basic production data accurately - fill in tags and summarize handover reports to the next attendant on shift.
  
• Support operators to meet daily production targets.

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  
• Ability to stand for long hours.
  
• Attention to detail.
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• Willingness to learn and take instructions.
  
• Strong work ethic and ability to push yourself to meet targets
