Job Description
You clock in, review the day’s work orders with the Lumber Supervisor and Senior Lumber Assistants, and begin staging raw lumber so production can move without interruption. With basic industry tools in hand, you prep boards to spec, make safe and accurate cuts on a radial arm saw, and position materials where the production team needs them next. Throughout the shift, you check counts, keep tidy records as materials move in and out, and help maintain an orderly warehouse so everything is easy to find and ready to go.
Quality is always top of mind—you compare materials against work orders, grade lumber to industry and reSAWN’s internal standards, and flag any inconsistencies before they reach production. When it’s time to ship, you assist the Driver by strapping and preparing the truck, and you stage outgoing materials for deliveries or internal transfers.
