Biomedical Support Worker

Department

Haematology Department, NHS Grampian

Key Duties

The main role is to assist the Biomedical Scientist staff in sample reception and preparation. The position is during the busy evening period and requires working under pressure and good communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum scientific qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital laboratory environment.
  • IBMS Accredited Biomedical Science Degree students considered.
