Job Summary
The Structured Cabling Technician I is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of low-voltage cabling systems in commercial environments. This role supports structured cabling projects by installing, routing, dressing, and terminating CATe and CAT cables in accordance with blueprints, safety standards, and established procedures. The Technician I works under supervision to gain hands-on experience and develop the technical skills required for growth within the telecom and low-voltage industry.
Job Responsibilities
Install and route cable infrastructure, including CATe and CAT cabling systems
Dress and route cables into IT closets, modular furniture, and designated outlet locations
Install cable pathways such as J-hooks, D-rings, cable trays, and ladder racks
