Long-term SEND Teaching Assistant, Walsall

Job Description

We are working with a local Walsall based SEND school setting who are seeking to appoint two full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant’s. These roles will initially be starting in September 2026 running to July 2027, with the potential to be extended further and has potential for a permanent contract depending on funding.

This role will be working Monday to Friday for the hours of 08:30 to 3:30 during term-time only

To be eligible, you must have previous experience supporting individuals with SEND needs. This can be from schools or from transferrable work fields such as residential, support or care. The school are passionate about finding the right individual and support / train accordingly.

These roles will be paid a week-in-arrears via internal PAYE, at a daily rate from £92.62 to £98.73 which is dependent on a case-by-case basis, such as qualifications & / or experience
