Responsibilities

  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Mountain driving expertise
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects
