Job Details

• Location: 3046 Bradner Rd, Abbotsford, BC V4X 1K2
• Salary: $36.60 hourly / 50 hours per week
• Terms: Permanent full-time employment

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold‑store, and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre‑trip, en route, and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
