Job Description
The Senior Logistics Technician is responsible for independently executing and coordinating complex logistics operations and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal controls. Raises import duty tax and submits value added tax (VAT).
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Coordinates both inbound and outbound shipments in a manner that is most cost effective. Routes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls. (20%)
+ Creates required export documentation to support international orders. Raises import duty tax and submits value added tax (VAT). Files required documentation with trucking companies for corrective action. Coordinates common carrier activities. (20%)
+ Accurately documents material movements and logistics records in the inventory management system. (20%)
