Job Description
- Oversees the shipping and inventory needs of the department.
- Monitors status of Shipping through close coordination with the Shipping Coordinators and Shipping Clerk.
- Implement sproper procedures required to improve and establishes effective system on inventory handling and delivery requirements.
- Works directly with customers to manage their issues and concerns, and to direct the drivers employed by their companies in coordination with company plans and shipping requirements, often consolidating freight and shipments for efficiency.
- Coordinates with external suppliers of transportation services in case these extra resources will be needed.
- Ensures that all delivery schedules are being followed and served on time.
- Counter-checks release of required documents for deliveries.
- Oversees monthly inventories and shipping performance.
