Logistics Planner

Responsibilities

Under the authority of the Logistics Coordinator, the logistics planner will be responsible for using assigned systems and applications, scheduling loads for shipping requirements per booking instructions, ensuring all information is relayed accurately and punctually.

• Answer enquiries from customers/sales and process all requests.
• Escalate and communicate professionally & effectively.
• Schedule delivery appointments.
• Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are coordinated with respective staff at each shipping destination.
• Meet performance deadlines and adhere to all client shipping requirements.
• Contact freight providers for available freight units daily.
• Check inventory to make sure requested product is available.
• Input freight costs for each order into SAP.
• Ensure all orders are invoiced daily.
