LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Industrial Support Department, Waterfront Operations (WFO) Division of NAVSUP FLC SD GF. Responsibilities You will provide research analysis of shipboard configuration. Based on configuration analysis and review take appropriate action to correct configuration and logistical support. You will identify material and equipment necessary for shipboard repair and/or replacement. You will participate in meetings and conferences pertaining to configuration and material support. You will submit Purchase Orders (PO) listing part requirements for purchase, either NSN or Part Number requirements based on received quotes from vendors and Original Equipment Manufacturers companies, for approval by respective ship project manager. You will analyze, track, expedite, and mitigate any errors, cancellations, or back-order statuses as applicable.
