Logistics & consignment controller

This role sits at the centre of procurement, transport and receiving operations — part planner, part problem-solver, and part administrative wizard.
What You'll Be Doing Purchase Order Administration Review inbound schedules and create additional Purchase Orders (POs) when required
Monitor and analyse open PO lists and follow up on outstanding orders
Obtain approvals for newly created POs
Capture and load POs onto the system prior to receiving raw materials
Monitor consumable stock levels and initiate replenishment through Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and approved POs
Maintain and update supplier price lists to ensure accurate PO pricing
Assign POs to relevant inbound loads Transport Scheduling Create and distribute inbound transport schedules to relevant stakeholders
Select the most cost-effective transport option, whether fleet or third-party
Communicate transport requirements clearly and ensure deadlines are met
