Job Description
This role sits at the centre of procurement, transport and receiving operations — part planner, part problem-solver, and part administrative wizard.
What You'll Be Doing
Purchase Order Administration
- Review inbound schedules and create additional Purchase Orders (POs) when required
- Monitor and analyse open PO lists and follow up on outstanding orders
- Obtain approvals for newly created POs
- Capture and load POs onto the system prior to receiving raw materials
- Monitor consumable stock levels and initiate replenishment through Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and approved POs
- Maintain and update supplier price lists to ensure accurate PO pricing
- Assign POs to relevant inbound loads
Transport Scheduling
- Create and distribute inbound transport schedules to relevant stakeholders
- Select the most cost-effective transport option, whether fleet or third-party
