Overview

My client based in Stellenbosch Technopark, is an established fruit exporter and they are looking for a Logistics and Financial Assistant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a financial qualification and no experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Team Support: Verification of costs and profitability during container loading.
• Generation of Proforma invoices where required.
• Support of ad-hoc logistics and operational duties.
• Invoice Verification and Purchase Order Control: Verify invoices against approved purchase orders.
• Ensure all invoices are correctly matched before processing.
• Follow up on missing or incorrect supporting documentation.
• Ensure all invoices receive the required approval before payment processing.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding invoice queries. ...
