Part of an experienced team of logistics experts responsible for day-to-day operations of a 24/7/365 Command Center focused on shipment alert management, tracking and technology tools, and service provider management and development.Key Responsibilities:
Work with the team to provide 24/7/365 coverage in a global Command Center.Shipment Alert ManagementMonitor shipments flagged by the automated system as alerts/exceptions (e.g., delays, routing errors, missed pick-ups, theft/tampering, etc.)Classify and prioritize alerts based on urgency and business impact.Engage with internal stakeholders, shippers, destinations, and external transportation providers to work to endeavor it’s resolved by the responsible party.Tracking & TracingProactively track shipments from origin to destination using the third-party platform.Provide real-time status updates and escalation alerts for critical shipments.Verify carrier com...
