Job Description
The Warehouse / Logistics Assistant coordinates and executes the assigned warehouse and/or logistics activities and processes, ensuring operational management of logistical providers and/or internal employees (e.g., warehouse staff, drivers) in line with specifications, orders and safety policies. The role supports and executes warehousing functions, outbound transport or a combination of both, and provides administrative support within the logistics / supply chain area.
Inventory management & stock control
- Re‑orders materials and/or equipment as needed, registers them in relevant databases/systems, and inspects, manages and maintains stock to ensure optimal availability for production and delivery.
- Identifies bottlenecks or inadequacies in the logistics processes and provides input on supplier performance.
