Job Description
Lemare Forestry Ltd. is looking for Log Loader and Hoe Forwarder Operators for full-time positions on Northern Vancouver Island, BC. Successful candidates will work with Madill 4800 series loaders in a demanding environment.
This role requires extensive logging experience and the ability to operate log loaders effectively in steep coastal areas. Operators will be responsible for loading 90-ton vehicles and ensuring safety and efficiency during operations while adhering to best practices in logging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with Madill 4800 log loaders for operations
• Safely load trucks and manage heavy loads
• Navigate steep terrains while hoe forwarding
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment
• Maintain logging equipment and equipment protocols
Requirements:
• Experienced in operating Madill 4800 loaders
• Background in coastal logging essential
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence mandatory
