Aurizon and Team Global Express (TGE) have a major long-term national contract and this partnership with a cornerstone customer will see Aurizon continue to service Australia’s growing containerised freight market. The contract provides Aurizon rail linehaul services connecting the state capitals of Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Aurizon are currently seeking Qualified Locomotive Drivers to be based at our Vic Dock depot in Melbourne on a full-time permanent arrangement.

About the role:

• Operation of locomotives including shunting and marshalling.
• Examine and certify trains as ready for departure.
• Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of on-time running.
• Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives.
