Mid-Level L10n Engineer Io T
As a Localization Engineer – Io T, you’ll support global readiness of connected devices, mobile apps, and cloud components through scalable localization workflows.
Responsibilities
Prepare Io T firmware, device UI strings, and app content for localization.
Build and maintain automation/scripts for device and app localization workflows.
Work with linguists, PMs, and embedded engineers on integration.
Troubleshoot encoding, parsing, and platform-specific issues.
Validate localized firmware, device screens, and app UI.
Document workflows, tools, and localization standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
2–4+ years in localization engineering, Io T, embedded systems, or similar.
Strong knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON, XML).
Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, Power Shell).
