Join Manitoulin Transport as a Class 5 local delivery driver starting at 6:00 AM. Engage with a trusted transportation network while focusing on fast, reliable service.
As a Class 5 local delivery driver, you will utilize your driving skills to manage deliveries and pick-ups in your area. Responsibilities include loading trailers and documenting any discrepancies. You are also responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections to uphold vehicle safety and compliance while lifting freight as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Start work at 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday
• Unload and load inbound and P&D freight
• Document any overages or damage during deliveries
• Conduct both pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Company guidelines
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 license required
• Experience operating a forklift is advantageous
• Experience lifting items up to 50lbs
