Livestock Farm Foreman

H.S. Jansen & Sons Farm Ltd, located at 5063 Knob Hill Road, Spallumcheen, BC, V0E 1B4, is looking for a Livestock Foreman for its dairy division.

Responsibilities

• Be a team player, give instruction, perform general farm duties, and produce daily reports on health and the condition of farm operations.
• Follow Government Dairy regulations regarding sterilizing milking systems.
• Handle nights and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Applicants must have 2‑3 years in a farm setting with experience raising young cows, recognizing health problems, and possessing a good understanding of husbandry.
• Ability to support and control bio‑security.
• Agricultural or college background and good English skills.
• Ability to handle large herds and participate in breeding programs.

Salary and Hours
