In this role, you will play a key part in advancing the firm’s commercial litigation practice and will focus on bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters within the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters, including CCAA and BIA proceedings.Advise lenders, creditors, debtors, trustees, and receivers on insolvency-related transactions and litigation.Draft and review court documents, security agreements, forbearance agreements, and restructuring plans.Perform legal research and prepare memoranda related to insolvency and commercial litigation issues.Support negotiations and settlements concerning distressed assets, secured transactions, and creditor rights.Advocate for clients i...
