Linux Systems Administrator

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a DevOps Systems Administrator – Linux for a permanent, full‑time role in Vancouver. The position is hybrid: 2 days in the downtown Vancouver office and 3 days remote.

Scope of Duties

• Deploy, update, and monitor Linux systems
• Collaborate with development teams to reduce TOIL related to bespoke application deployments and associated tooling
• Support multiple on‑premise environments
• Collaborate with application support teams to share and document knowledge and operational run books
• Scale and manage infrastructure with high throughput, availability and storage requirements
• Assist with urgent issues and be part of an on‑call rota to provide 2nd level troubleshooting support when required
• Automate all the things
