We’re seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our client's Linux infrastructure in a production environment. This role will focus on system administration, performance, reliability, and automation across critical platforms. You’ll work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable systems.
Responsibilities
+ Administer, support, and optimize Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
+ Perform system patching, upgrades, hardening, and performance tuning
+ Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production incidents
+ Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting tools
+ Support virtualization and/or cloud environments (VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
+ Work with application and DevOps teams to support deployments and environment stability
