Description
Provides system administrator and operations support for the computers and systems housed in Cheyenne. The Operator position provides a subset of the functions performed by the team and its primary responsibility to provide support of supercomputing and computer room services to the external customers.
As a Supercomputing Operator, this position provides support in the following areas:
● Site Network and System Monitoring
● Remote Monitoring of systems and services located at other Locations
● Ticket Review and Management
● Call Center Activities including call-out, customer, service support and vendor Communications
● Documentation of Activities Performed and Development of Procedures
● Data Center Information Management including asset, inventory, network and power systems
● Change Control Processing, Documentation and Communications
● Installation of servers and other equipment on the computer room floor
