Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for Linux, Solaris, and Windows servers.
  • Monitor systems, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution; escalate critical incidents appropriately.
  • Manage storage systems including SAN/NAS and associated protocols.
  • Support enterprise hardware (HP, Dell) and virtualization platforms (VMware ESX, Hyper-V).
  • Perform basic database administration for DB2 and Sybase.
  • Implement automation, monitoring, and alerting for production systems.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement for system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot network services including DNS, NIS, LDAP, DHCP, autofs, NFS, TCP/IP, NTP.
  • Execute Active Directory-related tasks as needed (preferred).
  • Adhere to change control and incident management processes
